I cannot recommend Lisa enough! Our engagement shoot was a complete surprise for me, and she did an amazing job helping my fiancé keep everything a secret. She gave clear directions throughout the planning process and made everything go so smoothly.From the moment we met her, Lisa was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. She made me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which is saying a lot because I’m usually awkward taking photos! She was efficient, confident, and clearly knew exactly what she was doing while still making sure we were enjoying the moment together.When we got our photos back, I was absolutely blown away. They turned out even better than I could have imagined, and they’re something we will cherish forever. She also had a quick turnaround time, which was such a nice surprise.One thing I really appreciated was the number of photos we received. It wasn’t too few where you felt like you were missing moments, and it wasn’t so many that it became overwhelming to look through them. It was seriously the perfect amount, with so many beautiful shots to choose from.If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, professional, and genuinely cares about her clients, I would recommend Lisa to absolutely anyone. If we could give Frank Bernasek Photography more than 5 stars we would! In May my wife and I brought my family to Maui for a week and decided that this would be a great opportunity for family pictures since my kids and their families live in different parts of the U.S. and it is tough for us to all get together otherwise. Lisa Bernasek met our family of 9 including 2 toddlers at 6:30am at D.T. Fleming Beach for a Maui Package photoshoot (Lisa recommended the venue and very early-morning since the toddlers were still on mainland time, she knew that we would have the beach to ourselves, and the lighting was great!). Lisa captured the moment perfectly, getting great pics of the entire clan and especially of the toddlers as they explored the wonders of the beach and ocean (she was over-the-top-excellent with the grandkids!). The quality of the high-resolution pictures was superb, lighting was perfect, images very sharp and are incredible as I view them rotating on my 75” big screen (prints/wall art are in progress!).Tip to consider: As Lisa was photographing members of my family, especially of my 2-year old grandkids and all the exploring and fun they had with the sand and water, I took “behind-the-scene” iPhone photos of her photographing my family -- basically moments providing context of special moments captured by a very capable, fun, and engaging pro (note the pictures I included with this review avoid showing the grandkids' faces, or obscure them with the sunglasses out of caution for their privacy).Will I engage Frank Bernasek Photography again in a few years after the grandkids are older? YES! But in the meantime, we are flying my wife’s kids and their families to Maui in July and have already booked Frank Bernasek Photography for another Maui Package photoshoot!

We had such a wonderful experience with Frank! We visited Maui as a family and wanted photos that would help us remember this trip for years to come, and he absolutely delivered.From the very beginning, he was easy to communicate with, and booking the session was extremely simple. During the session, he made all of us feel comfortable, including our kids, and he captured both beautiful posed portraits as well as candids.When we received our gallery, we were blown away. There was so much variety! Frank made incredible use of the beach, the lava rocks, the palm trees, and the morning light. Every image feels like Hawaii. Narrowing down our favorites for prints has been incredibly difficult because there are so many that we love.If you're looking for someone to capture your family while you're in Maui, I would absolutely recommend Frank. These are photos we'll treasure for a very long time.

We are lifestyle photographer, and our style is geared towards capturing real moments. This means getting you interacting rather than posing, and having a fun time together – because that’s where the magic happens!
That’s ok! Many children are shy or have a hard time with posing for photos, which is why we forget the posing and just get you all hanging out and loving on each other! You just enjoy the moment and I’ll worry about the photos.
After booking, We will send you a confirmation email for our session. We will reach out to you 24-48 hours before our session. If you need to cancel, please do as early as possible.

Yes, credit card is the preferred payment method. When booking online, payment is due when you book. If you call and schedule an appointment over the phone, payment is due the day of the session.

No, we are not permitted to shoot on Kaanapali Beach.
