We absolutely loved working with Frank and couldn’t recommend him more. He coordinated a surprise engagement with my fiancé ahead of time and made the entire experience feel incredibly relaxed and easy. From start to finish, he was kind, personable, and had such a great, easy-going personality that instantly put us at ease. He was thoughtful in how he shot everything, making sure to capture both sides so we never felt like there was a “bad side” and had plenty of options to choose from. Afterward, he uploaded all of the photos to a super user-friendly website complete with a beautiful slideshow, which made reliving the moment so special. Overall, he was fantastic. Compared to other photographers on the island, his pricing was very comparable, and he actually included editing on many photos that most others didn’t offer. We would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing photographer.

Just received our family photos back from our photo shoot with Lisa and WOW! They are absolutely stunning and we are so happy with them! We got family photos for our first family trip to Maui with our 11 month old so it was important to capture the memories. Lisa made us feel so comfortable and at ease. She was also so great and comforting with our son who was getting a little nervous from a big swell. Definitely would recommend!

We had an amazing experience with Frank Bernasek Photography. Frank took our family photos in the morning at D.T. Fleming Beach Park in Lahaina and they turned out absolutely stunning. He captured everything we hoped for — solos of the kids, the kids together, me and my husband, and of course, all four of us. He captured the true version of our family with distance shots and beautiful closeups with breathtaking backdrops. Not only was Frank fast, efficient and easy to work with, he's hilarious! We laughed the whole time, great sense of humor! Booking was easy and fast, Frank contacted us the day before as promised and pictures came back quick! We are lifestyle photographer, and our style is geared towards capturing real moments. This means getting you interacting rather than posing, and having a fun time together – because that’s where the magic happens!
That’s ok! Many children are shy or have a hard time with posing for photos, which is why we forget the posing and just get you all hanging out and loving on each other! You just enjoy the moment and I’ll worry about the photos.
After booking, We will send you a confirmation email for our session. We will reach out to you 24-48 hours before our session. If you need to cancel, please do as early as possible.

No, we are not permitted to shoot on Kaanapali Beach.
